Finance Reporting Manager

Castlefield Recruitment are partnering with a not for profit Housing Association based in the Midlands area in order to recruit a Finance Reporting Manager on a permanent basis. The organisation have an excellent reputation in the local area and they are keen to add to their high performing team. They work on an agile basis where the expectation is to work on-site 1-2 days per week. 

Role:
Working closely with the Head of Finance you will lead the team and manage the year end process. 
Duties will include;

• Lead, manage and motivate the team responsible for the production of statutory accounts
• Act as the technical expert in accounting and lead on accounting policy and practice
• Responsible for completion of quarterly VAT returns
• Responsible for the completion of the statutory accounts within agreed timescale and managing the external audit

Person:

The successful candidate:

• Professionally qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
• Managed the year end process within another Housing Association
• Housing SORP experience
• Available at short notice - beneficial
