We are looking for aFinance Officer to join a growing office in Manchester, our client is agovernment organisation that helps people, businesses and the economy byensuring equal opportunities and promoting fair behaviour.

Your new role
As the Finance Officeryou will be responsible for;

  • Processing invoicesaccurately and on time.
  • Preparing the BACsruns, raising CHAPS payments.
  • Complete monthlyreconciliations
  • Checking andprocessing credit card expenses.
  • Supplier statementreconciliations.
  • Reviewing VATtransactions and preparing returns for management review.
  • Raising CHAPSpayments.
  • Creation of salesinvoices and debt management, when required.


What you'll need to succeed
You will have:

  • Experience in asimilar role
  • Ability to buildrelationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritiseconflicting demands
  • Knowledge of financialsystems (preferably Agresso)
