Finance Manager – Ely - £50,000 - £55,000

If you are an experienced Accountant or Finance Manager looking for a new challenge in Ely, then this could be the opportunity for you. Reed Finance are partnered with a fast growing organisation in Ely as they recruit a newly created permanent Finance Manager position, to take full responsibility for their management accounting process alongside financial accounting duties and managing the purchase ledger team.

You will join an established team, reporting to the Head of Finance.

Responsibilities will include:

• Manage a team of 3.
• Production of monthly management accounts.
• Manage the month-end process delivery.
• Accounts package administration and closing ledgers.
• Margin and overhead variance analysis and reporting on a regular basis.
• Participation in stock reporting and accuracy.
• Maintaining and reconciling balance and general ledger accounts.
• Quarterly VAT returns to the nominal ledger.
• Board pack reporting including KPI’s.
• Assisting with the preparation of year-end statutory accounts. 
• Oversight of purchase ledger function.   

You will be joining a friendly and hardworking team and will receive support from management and the team as a whole.
