Finance Manager

A Finance Manager is sought to join this growing property developer located in Manchester city centre.

The company is an award-winning new homes developer delivering highly desirable homes throughout the North West. Due to growth, an opportunity for a finance manager has arisen to join the small but growing finance team located in Manchester city centre.

Reporting into the Finance Director and overseeing a finance team of two, you will ideally have previous experience within the property/construction sector. This is a varied role and would suit someone on an upward trajectory in their career. Candidates who are part-qualified or qualified by experience with experience in transactional finance and inter-company accounts will be most suited to the role.

Main duties include:

• Overseeing/supervising a small transactional finance team
• Inter-company reconciliations, recharges and loans
• managing the nominal ledger for the main company
• monthly management accounts for inter-companies.
• VAT returns
• Providing monthly updates to the payroll provider on salary amendments
• CIS Returns

YOU:

• Part qualified/qualified or qualified by experience
• Experience of intercompany accounts
• construction/property experience is advantageous but not essential
• Hands on approach, able to work autonomously but with support where necessary
• Strong commercial acumen
• Good excel skills, personable & professional
