Description

The key responsibilities of an Finance Manager will include, but may not be limited to;

  • Leading the development and implementation of strategic finance initiatives.
  • Managing and guiding the accounting and finance team to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Overseeing the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Ensuring compliance with finance regulations and standards within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Collaborating with other departments to optimise budget planning and management.
  • Identifying opportunities for financial process improvements.
  • Acting as a key liaison between the finance department and external stakeholders.
  • Contributing to the financial planning and decision-making at the management level.

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience in strategic financial planning and management.
  • Strong knowledge of finance regulations and standards in the Not for Profit and Charities sector.
  • Outstanding leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
