Finance Manager – 12-month Fixed term contract.

Salford – office based.

Look no further! We’re seeking a talented individual to join my client to drive financial excellence and work closely with the management team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including P&L, bank reconciliations.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, variance analysis
• Year-end accounts prep for different companies and liaison with auditors and external accountants.
• VAT returns, journals, intercompany recharges, CIS returns and asset reporting  
• Lead a small finance team including purchase and sales ledger, payroll/HR and Property
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, providing financial insights.

Skills and Experience:

• Accountancy Qualification AAT Level 4 or CIMA/ACCA/ACA/Qualified by experience.
• Excellent IT skills including Sage 200, Sage HR, Xero and advanced excel.
• Proven experience as a finance manager in an SME with line management experience
• First class communication skills with a hands-on approach
• CIS experience
• Asset Finance experience
