Your New Role
Nigel Wright are delighted to be supporting an independent distributor with operations in the UK, France, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands and the USA.

They are seeking to recruit a Finance Manager into their team to be responsible for the finance function.

Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:-
  • Production of monthly Management accounts and supporting information.
  • Rolling cash flow forecasting, managing supplier payments, bank reconciliation and overseeing credit control.
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Production of Year end Accounts and liaison with external auditors.
  • Monthly customer, and product sales, analysis.
  • Process monthly payroll, including pension scheme return and management.
  • HMRC VAT and PAYE returns.
  • Management of Foreign Currency payments to non UK suppliers.
  • Managing Xero accounting system, including supplier invoices, accruals and prepayments.
  • Company credit card reconciliation and journal posting.
  • Management of Fixed Asset register.
  • Calculation of Plastic Packaging Tax and return to HMRC

You Will Be/Have
  • Proactive, passionate and be able to be left to their own devices.
  • Preferably who has done a similar role before and has a hands-on approach.
  • Confident communicator and have the confidence to provide and challenge information.
  • Ideally have experience with Xero
