Do you want to join a long-established market leading manufacturing business based in Clacton, where they specialist products are sought after in many sectors all around the world?

They're seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to join their team and drive financial excellence.

The salary ranges from £60,000 to £70,000, working from home option, 23 days plus many other benefits.

As the Finance Manager of the business, you will play an important role in overseeing the financial activities. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the finance function with three direct reports, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow analysis.

Key responsibilities

  • Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts and financial statements
  • Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning
  • Producing long-term business plans
  • Undertaking research into pricing and factors affecting performance
  • Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure
  • Managing budgets
  • Developing and managing financial systems/models
  • Carrying out business modelling and risk assessments
  • Supervising staff

Qualifications and Skills:

- ACCA, ACA OR CIMA qualified preferred but qualified by experience considered
- Proven experience in a senior finance role, with a track record of success in financial management and strategic planning.
- Extensive knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial regulations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working in a family-owned business or closely-held company is preferred.
