Working alongside the MD and Commercial Director who both have many years relevant sector experience you will be responsible for all of finance, internal external relationship, commercial decision support and review/implement processes and systems.
Effectively operating as a deputy MD.
Working in the family culture business you will be given autonomy and responsibility to make changes, recommend improvements and be involved at all operational levels.
Duties to include – Strategy, dealing with banks and funding, project accounting/review/analysis, monthly management accounts, budgeting and modelling, VAT and tax, board reporting, commercial decision support and maintaining financial controls.
This is currently a standalone role so ideally you will have some knowledge of the property, architectural, construction or estate agency sectors. However if you have undertaken a similar role before outside of these sectors and have the right mind set you would be considered.
However this role is very much about mind set and being able to work closely with directors. So you will need to be solutions focused, able to work autonomously and have a honest and constructive approach.
The salary on this role depends on experience but ideally is in the range of £65- £80k plus bonus plus the option to work from home as required.
