Role - Finance Business Partner Location - Manchester Salary - £45k - £50k - 5 days office based

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a rapidly growing online retail business in their search for a Finance Business Partner to work out of their offices based just outside of Manchester city centre.

The successful candidate will need to ACA/ACCA or CIMA part qualified/ Finalist with a strong academic background. Sound technical accounting knowledge is essential and any exposure to working within an e-comm environment would be a distinct advantage. A high level of analysis skills is also crucial as the this role will tasked with analysing and interpreting data.

Key duties for the role will include:

  • Preparation and review of the company budget and forecast
  • Review financial results and provide detailed sales and margin variance analysis vs budget/forecasts
  • Business partnering with the wider business, supporting commercial decision making
  • Provide data driven insights to identify margin improvement opportunities through customer and product analysis
  • Drawing insight from data, helping the account teams understand the drivers of performance
  • Ad-hoc reporting to support commercial finance, account teams and the wider business
