Finance Business Partner

Robertson Bell are partnering with this respected organisation whilst they recruit for a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Head of Finance Business Partnering, you will join a team of five and will have responsibility for a portfolio of budget holders.

Duties for this role will include:

• Holding face to face and virtual meetings with key budget holders across the organisation, guiding them through their finances.
• Keep a close eye on the cash flow of the organisation, preparing necessary reports.
• Lead on budgeting and forecasting.
• Review potential risks and carry out ad hoc analysis and modelling on potential future projects.
• Support the Head of Finance Business Partnering with the consolidation of reports.
• Assist junior team members with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Hold responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of the finance system.
• Partner with colleagues across the finance team, building strong relationships and ensuring the organisation works collaboratively.

This Finance Business Partner role will suit someone with a commercial background or approach who can confidently collaborate with stakeholders up to Head of and Director level. The successful post holder will report into a knowledgeable line manager who is seeking a diligent individual who is keen to progress in their career. The role will be based from the organisations head office in Brighton with a requirement of going in once to twice a week depending on business need.

The successful candidate will:

• Be a fully qualified Accountant or at finalist level.
• Have proven experience in a business partnering role.
• Demonstrate first rate communication skills.
• Be confident manipulating large data sets using Excel.
