A local company are looking for an experienced individual to join their growing team as a Finance Assistant. The company are a family run business and are looking for an AAT qualified or equivalent individual.

Working hours will consist 37.5 hours per week, 08:30-17:00, Monday to Friday.

Duties of the role:

  • Sales Ledger with payment receipts.
  • Purchase Ledger including inputting, balancing and paying suppliers.
  • Conducting bank reconciliations.
  • Completing VAT returns.
  • Taking inbound calls and making relevant outbound calls, managing queries.
  • General administration.

You must:

  • Have an AAT qualification or equivalent.
  • Hold previous experience within a Finance Assistant role.
  • Show strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Be computer literate, confident on spreadsheet work and able to learn new software.
  • Work well within a team.
  • Be willing to develop within your role.

Experience using Sage Accounts and Payroll would be advantageous but is not required. Offering £30,000-£35,000 per annum pro rata, this is a fantastic opportunity with the potential for progression to a Finance Manager role.
