Our Client is a distinguished marine risk management consultancy providing comprehensive claims handling, adjusting, and operational support services to clients in the marine, transport, and general commercial business sectors.

Overall Objective of Role: The Finance Administrator plays a pivotal role in providing full administration and invoice support to the Finance Team. This role demands exceptional communication skills, precision, the ability to absorb information swiftly, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in working efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Generating and completing sales invoices
  • Processing payment invoices using financial software and bank systems
  • Managing general inquiries, document processing, file maintenance, and record-keeping
  • Utilizing case management software effectively
  • Proficiency in exchange rate calculations
  • Utilizing Excel, Word, and other Office software in addition to company-specific software as required
  • Conducting credit control and reconciliation duties
  • Providing general administrative support to team members as directed by management
  • Responding to external inquiries from clients, colleagues, and third-party service providers
  • Processing documentation and information, including data inputting, and generating correspondence in response to queries
  • Monitoring the email inbox and distributing correspondences accordingly
