Field Service Generator Engineer

£30,000 - 40,000 (£45,000 OTE) + Training + Progression + Overtime

Covering Watford, St Albans, Enfield, Barnet, Harlow, Stevenage

On offer is the chance to join a service engineering team as a field service engineer working a range of generator sets at customers sites.

Our client is a leading supplier of power generators ranging from rental, be spoke generators and static generators.

Role & Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned service and maintenance of customer's generators.
* To conduct load bank testing on customers owned units
* To accurately fault find and diagnose both mechanical and electrical issues
* Carry our site surveys when required.
* Be able to work alone on engines
* Logging paperwork correctly and efficiently

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Must have a strong customer focus
* Experience with mechanical/electrical engineering or diesel fitting
* Must be familiar with electronic systems and mechanical components (including engines and Alternators)
* Apply proper engine technical skills in inspection and disassembly.
* Utilization of the proper testing equipment for effective repair and maintenance.
* Ex-Forces
