Female Children’s Support Worker - Earls Court

Hours - 9 hour night shifts (Mon - Sun)

Pay - £10 - £12 p/h

Pulse Community Healthcare is seeking a skilled and experienced support worker to support our client with complex respiratory conditions. We are looking for a positive, calming support worker to promote our clients independence in the community and his home.

The successful support worker would be expected to provide personal care, administer medication, undertake moving and handing and manage complex clinical interventions. Specialist training will be provided to the successful support workers covering respiratory, allowing care needs to be met.

This role is for a 9 hour night shift and we are offering a competitive pay of up to £12 per hour.

As a Complex Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care
  • Administering medication
  • Moving and handling
  • Managing clinical interventions - respiratory care, non-invasive ventilation, saturations monitoring, PRN medication
  • Promoting independence in the home and community.

The ideal support worker will have:

  • A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
  • A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)
  • Previous paid experience in Health and Social Care in the UK
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good understanding of professional boundaries
  • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team.
