Female Child Support Worker - Croydon

Pulse Community Healthcare is seeking skilled and compassionate support workers to support our client with neurological conditions. Our client requires a support worker who has a soft, calming approach to aid her in her daily routine.

Our client is a young female who leads and active lifestyle. Support workers will be expected to provide personal care, manage complex interventions and manage medication.

This role is working night’s shifts 10pm to 8am, and is offering a competitive pay of up to £12.50 per hour.

As a Support Worker for Pulse Community Healthcare you will benefit from:

As a Complex Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care
  • Managing complex clinical interventions
  • Seizure management
  • Managing medication
  • PEG feeding.

The ideal support worker will have:

  • A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
  • A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)
  • Previous paid experience in Health and Social Care in the UK
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good understanding of professional boundaries
  • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team.
