Job Opportunity: Full-Time EYFS Teaching Assistant in Oldham

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team on a full-time basis in Oldham. This exciting role involves providing essential support to children in their crucial early years, helping them to develop the skills and confidence they need for future success.

Key Requirements:

  • Valid child-based DBS on the Update Service
  • Experience working in an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting
  • Passion for early childhood education and child development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment
  • Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the EYFS teacher in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate activities
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to children to facilitate their learning and development
  • Assisting with the planning and preparation of learning materials and resources
  • Encouraging children to explore and discover through play-based learning experiences
  • Supporting children with personal care and hygiene as needed
  • Collaborating with colleagues and parents to promote each child's progress and well-being
