Job Description:

We are currently seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) to join our team in Tameside. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the class teacher, facilitating learning, and ensuring the well-being of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and interactive lessons
  • Support children's learning and development through one-on-one and small group activities
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the class teacher
  • Assist with the preparation and organisation of classroom resources
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the holistic development of each child

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in an Early Years setting is desirable
  • A proactive approach with a genuine passion for working with young children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Relevant qualifications in childcare or education are advantageous but not essential
