EYFS Teacher - Tunbridge Wells

Part-time 0.6 - MPS/UPS - September 2024 Start

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a dedicated Primary Teacher to teach an EYFS class on a part-time basis from September 2024. This will be a 0.6 role with the days being Wednesday-Friday. Your timetable would comprise of 2.5 days of teaching as the remaining being PPA with the other teacher you would be job sharing with. This a great opportunity for an experienced teacher looking for more work-life balance, or a teacher looking for a new challenge.

The school is a multi-form entry primary school in Tunbridge Wells and has been graded GOOD by Ofsted. The school is commented on having excellent leadership and a high standard of teaching across all year groups. The school is based near the town centre and is accessible via public transport.

The Role

  • Planning and delivering the Primary Curriculum in EYFS
  • Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported, and challenged appropriately with the work set.
  • Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
  • Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students

Requirements

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
  • Experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum in EYFS would be highly desirable but not essential.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
  • Have right to work in the UK
