Join our team at Accelerate Teaching and make a positive impact on the future of primary education in Bradford! We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) to work at a primary school in Ilkley to begin after the Spring break, 8th April 2024.

As a TA specialising in EYFS, you will play a vital role in nurturing the development of young minds and helping them thrive during their formative years. It is essential that you have a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and previous experience working within an EYFS environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons that align with the EYFS framework.
  • Providing one-on-one support to children who may require additional assistance.
  • Assisting with the development of individual learning plans and tracking progress.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere in the classroom.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and parents to ensure each child's needs are met.
  • Creativity is at the heart of every EYFS classroom, so your ability to infuse creativity into the learning process is essential.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, a caring and patient demeanour, and a genuine passion for early years education. Your ability to inspire and motivate young learners will be highly valued.
