We are seeking a qualified and experienced Service Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and LEV testing of mist extraction equipment for our clients across Swindon/Wiltshire

Responsibilities:

  • Install new mist extraction equipment according to manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of existing mist extraction systems.
  • Perform LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) testing in accordance with HSE guidelines (HSG258) to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed service reports and documentation.
  • Identify and diagnose faults within mist extraction systems.
  • Work collaboratively with other engineers and technicians to resolve complex issues.
  • Must be electrical bias, or an industrial electrical engineer with sign off.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of mist extraction equipment.
  • A strong understanding of LEV systems and their operation.
  • Experience with LEV testing procedures (HSG258) is highly desirable.
  • A working knowledge of health and safety regulations (COSHH).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driving license.
  • A background working with CNC machines is a significant advantage.
