Export Executive

Reed Procurement & Supply Chain are supporting an expanding Freight Forwarder in their search for an Export Logistics Executive, you will be joining a small multimodal Export team in this thriving organisation who are developing and pushing into new areas so if you are looking for development then this will be for you.

To be successful in this Export Logistics Executive job, you will have a minimum of 2 years current experience in Ocean Export, LCL and Customs entries.

Training can be provided on Air and Road, but you must have already worked in Ocean Export.

This is a very busy department; you must be a Team player and comfortable multitasking.  There is a lot of knowledge in the organisation due to the longevity of your future team members so you can expect full support as you develop and grow your knowledge.

Export Logistics Executive typical duties;

• Communicate with customers, hauliers, and carriers to ensure smooth export operations.
• Arrange bookings with lines and carriers, adhering to vessel/flight deadlines.
• Organise collections and ensure timely deliveries.
• Complete customs entries and raise necessary export documentation and manifests.
• Verify that screening and check weighing have been completed by warehouses.
• Finalise all documentation and confirm that vessels/flights have been met.
• Invoice and liaise with, as well as send pre-alerts to, overseas agents.

What I need from you;

• A minimum of two years’ experience in Ocean Export LCL
• Have experience in completing export documentation and understanding country-specific requirements.
• Experienced in completing customs declarations.
• Strong attention to detail
• A friendly personality with good communication skills.
• A strong and dynamic team player who can also work independently.
