Experienced Teaching Assistant

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 3 months of experience as a teaching assistant or overseas teacher, ideally hold a level 3 NVQ qualification and possess strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills. We are offering a minimum of £90 per day, dependent on qualifications/experience.

We are looking to fill various short term and long-term vacancies for teaching assistants and learning support assistants in North Somerset from now and from September 2023.

The day will include:

• Support the teacher with the lesson plan through preparing learning materials.
• Adapt teaching support according to student's needs.
• Look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare.
• Create an engaging, fun learning environment through a range of resources.
• Work with other teachers, parents, and professionals to aid learning.
