Experienced Field Care Supervisor

I am working on behalf of a very reputable Elderly Service provider that requires an experienced Field Care Supervisor for their Basildon based branch.

With two ISO standard certifications in Quality Management and for Health and Safety Management in place, they are committed to delivering high quality care services at every stage. The role:
This particular branch has been running for the last 2 years or so, delivering around 1400 hours / month. They are a friendly, passionate and continually evolving home care branch, who's main purpose is to deliver high quality care to their clients.
You will be responsible for managing care staff out in the field, carrying out spot checks, appraisals, training and mentoring for approximately 30 carers & working closely with the care coordinator and Home Care Manager amongst other duties.
This a is full time role offering hours from 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
There will also be on-call duties 1 in 4 to cover holidays and sickness.

The Person:
You will be a strong & experienced field care supervisor or have been carrying out the duties of this role in the absence of the FCS and have a proven successful track record within domiciliary care. You will have excellent leadership qualities, but be personable and approachable with excellent communication skills. You will have the ability to be flexible, to time manage effectively and have a desire to work to high standards and push yourself to better both the company and yourself. You will have the ability to come in and hit the ground running working off your own initiative.

The Salary:
£17K - £20K Dependent on experience plus benefits
