Working for a national examinations board, the centre in central Newcastle is looking for a part time Steward to assist on a regular but part time basis

The centre in Newcastle is only open 3 days /  Thursdays to Saturday every two weeks. You will work approx. 6 days per month.  Initial dates are listed below  

Working at a busy exam centre in Newcastle, just a short walk from the mainline station. 

This would suit a student or somebody who wants flexible, adhoc work with no ongoing commitment . Full training will be given on the job

The duties

  • Meeting and greeting candidates as they arrive for their exam
  • Escorting them through the exam centre
  • Ensuring they arrive at designated exam room at the right time

About you! 

  • available to start on 14 March
  • available to work alternate weeks and weekends 
  • experienced in a customer service role such as retail or hospitality
  • have excellent communication skills and able to liaise effectively with a wide range of people 
  • excellent time management skills

14/15/16 March
28 March (one day due to Easter closure)
11/12/13 April
25/26/27 April 

The role is totally ongoing and we need somebody who is able to commit on this basis. 

This role pays £10.90 per hour
