JOB TITLE: Exams Officer - Immediate Start

LOCATION: Burgess Hill

HOURS: 37 Hours

SHIFT: 8am-4pm Monday to Friday

SALARY: £12 - £14 P/H


We are delighted to be working with our longstanding Client who are currently looking for an Exams Officer. This is a varied and interesting role which is pivotal for the organisation.


· Management and Administration of the Examination process in accordance with relevant Examination Board requirements including timetables, room allocations, resources and preparation

· Review and updating of relevant school policies, as required

· Store and keep secure all examination papers and materials according to Board requirements

· Keep records of examination syllabuses and student records.

· Manage arrange and deploy exam invigilation

· Manage the examination results process including preparation and distribution of results

· Manage general routine correspondence relating to the examination process including remarking of papers, keeping all staff informed of Examination Board requirements

· Liaison with Leaders of Learning regarding subject over entries, coursework, the conduct of exams and results

· Other line management responsibilities, as required.

The Ideal Candidate:

· Previous experience in office administration essential

· Excellent communicator - written and verbal

· Total proficiency with Microsoft programmes

· Keen eye for detail, punctual and organise

· Professional telephone manner and communication skills

· High level organisational and time management skills

· Ability to work as both a team member and in a stand-alone position

· Strong initiative and proactive working manner

· Able to manage complex processes using initiative and taking responsibility
