Capita are the preferred recruitment supplier for a leading Regulator who are expanding and leading the way as an independent body. We are looking to recruit an Events Coordinator to work alongside the senior leadership team, the stakeholder manager and head of external communications.
This role will be to deliver a variety of national and regional events which create impact and strengthen the organisation's profile and reputation.
Duties will include
To identify and book locations for the events, liaise with location management for booking catering and logistical arrangements
To set up and manage the delegate booking arrangements
Assemble and arrange the delivery of delegate packs, name badges and exhibition stand materials as appropriate
Develop strong working relationships with regional teams
Candidates applying will have demonstrable previous experience in event management and the confidence to liaise with, speakers, senior officials senior staff, non-executive directors and stakeholders. Ability to demonstrate initiative and calm especially when problem solving or under pressure is a must, together with proven ability to prioritise and schedule work assignments to include handling.
