Our client is a well-known for running & creating specialist tailored events, running approximately 200 conferences a year across the world. They are more than just an event & conferencing company though, they are at the forefront of their industries providing companies with knowledge needed to drive forward.
They are looking for a passionate candidate to join the business as an Events Coordinator.
Location: London (E1), (nearest tube stations are Whitechapel, Aldgate, London Fenchurch Street, Liverpool Street etc)
Salary: £21k - £23k
You will be working for an events company, assisting on the operational aspects of their events worldwide.
Some of the responsibilities you will be assisting with are –
- Venue selection and site checks
- Negotiating hotel and venue contracts
- Liaising with sponsors and exhibitors
- Making travel arrangements
- Working closely with all suppliers e.g. designers, printers, security staff
- Managing budgets and reducing costs where possible
- Coordinating post event evaluation
To be successful in this role you must have a degree in Events Management or similar and have at least a years’ experience within a similar role working for an events company. This is a B2B conferencing role, so experience of this is essential. You will have also previously run events simultaneously and be happy to travel for between 2-5 days at any time up to 4 times a year.
You may have had experience of be interested in the following: Events Coordinator, Events Executive, Events Manager, Events Company, Exhibition Coordinator, etc.
