We are seeking a candidate to manage a team of diverse experts in various specialisations on a daily basis, while also handling their own development workload. The ideal candidate should possess outstanding management and technical skills, fostering a collaborative environment within the team. They will play a pivotal role in driving design and innovation, not only within our organisation but also across the Electric Vehicle Charging Industry. This position requires close collaboration so is office-based.

Key Responsibilities include supervising and developing the team, ensuring adherence to detailed documentation and reporting standards for new features and releases.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
Proficiency in circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout
Experience in board bring-up for digital and analog circuits
Familiarity and proficiency with Altium 365 and Altium Designer
Knowledge of EMC design principles, industry regulations, and best practices
Experience with lab testing and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, AC and DC loads, and near-field probes
Proficiency in C, Embedded C, and C++
Familiarity with agile product development practices, project management tools, tool chains, and unit testing software
Experience with standard tools like compilers and debuggers, especially ARM-based
Experience with micro controllers including ST Microelectronics SM32 series, Espressif, and Atmega, particularly 32-bit variants
Strong problem-solving skills
Minimum of 4 years' experience in a managerial role within an electronics development environment.
