Your new role
Your new role as European Supply Planner will work with 4 other planners to manage inventory for sales divisions across EMEA. This includes France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Russia, UAE & UK.
You will act as first point of contact for specified suppliers and will communicate effectively to ensure a positive relationship.
You will manage planning parameters to optimise AX MRP results (e.g. Min/Max, EOQ, Lead-Times, etc)
You will monitor and manage inventory levels to achieve agreed targets, review demand forecasts (via. MLE) from sales divisions and will question where required.
You will minimise Excess and Obsolescence risk at all times.
Your role will be responsible for raising and releasing Purchase Orders through the system and expediting, deferring or cancelling of PO's to reflect changes in demand. You will also produce purchase plans to forecast requirements from suppliers.
You will monitor and manage customer back orders to achieve targets and review customer backorders and expedite customer delivery where required.
To be successful in this role
To be successful in this role you will be analytical by nature and highly numerate.
You will demonstrate previous experience working as a supply planner/demand planner where your role has been primarily responsible for developing an accurate product forecast.
You will demonstrate a keen eye for detail that has enabled you to consistently maintain an accurate forecast and where required challenged internal teams such as sales.
You will be experienced with MRP systems, ideally MS Dynamics and will be especially strong with Excel.
You should demonstrate experience working with a global supply chain and will have existing experience of overviewing the supply chain to provide early warning of potential risks to on-time delivery.
