The ETL Developer is responsible for the daily operation of ETL processes including troubleshooting issues and performing development on new and existing ETL jobs. This role also provides backup support to the production DBA.
You will work on identifying the business context and analysis the IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend the correct solutions for these ensuring that they stay up to date with the latest trends within in the sector.
The key part of the role will be to define, manage and plan to fulfill the needs of the business to deadlines. You will also be working with the team to maintain the continuing development of deployed solutions and ensure the implementation of the IT Strategy is fully cost effective.
·At least 3 years of experience in a data analyst/systems analyst/ETL developer role.
·Advanced level SQL skills.
·2 or more years of experience using Informatica in a small team.
·Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving.
·Able to occasionally work out of normal hours on urgent customer facing issues.
·Comfortable performing development within motivated timeframes.
·Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment.
·Excellent teamwork skills and collaboration abilities.
·Strong written/verbal communication skills.
·Must be willing to travel on rare occasions both domestically and internationally.
You will need to be someone who is driven, who is able to approach problems analytically and solve them with a strategic perspective to help maintain high standards to the range of tasks you will be responsible for.
