With a track record of delivering high-quality projects, we are seeking an Experienced Qualified Estimator to join our dynamic team.

Role Overview: As an Experienced Qualified Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in our project planning and execution processes. You will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of groundworks and civil engineering projects, ensuring competitiveness while maintaining profitability. Your expertise will contribute to our continued success and growth in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather relevant information for accurate estimations.
  • Utilize industry-leading software and methodologies to develop detailed cost breakdowns and proposals.
  • Conduct thorough site visits and assessments to assess project requirements and potential challenges.
  • Review and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations to optimize project costs.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements to inform estimating processes.
  • Participate in project meetings and discussions to provide insights on cost-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an estimator in the groundworks and civil engineering sector.
  • Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam, CostX, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
