The role of the Estimator - Roofing Systems will involve:

  • Estimator position dealing with range of pitched and flat roofing projects
  • Review project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work
  • Producing accurate and detailed quotations to clients
  • Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
  • Monitor project costs throughout the construction process, identify cost-saving opportunities and recommended values
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors
  • Attending pre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients as required
  • Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met
  • Estimating for projects ranging in value from £5k to £1m

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - Roofing Systems with:

  • Must have 3+ years Estimator, Project Manager or Contracts Manager experience in the UK construction market sector
  • Ideally will have estimating experience roofing market sector however other market sectors would be considered
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Adaptable individual who can turn their hand to other responsibilities
  • Must be able to compete physical duties (roof surveys etc)
  • Full UK driving license
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Confident and articulate
