Requirements of our Estimator and Quantity Surveyor
- Detail-oriented and experienced Landscape Estimator and Quantity Surveyor to play a crucial role in project planning and execution.
- Estimating: Prepare accurate cost estimates for landscape construction projects, including materials, labour, and equipment costs, based on project specifications, drawings, and site visits as required.
- Quantity Surveying: Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and measurements to determine required materials and resources for each project stage. Manage procurement processes and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive prices.
- Tendering, contract administration, risk management and reporting.
- Office based with occasional site and client visits as required.
Responsibilities of our Estimator and Quantity Surveyor
- Your role will include the full spectrum of estimating and quantity surveyor duties.
- Proven experience as a Landscape Estimator and Quantity Surveyor.
- Strong proficiency in estimating software and quantity surveying techniques.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- The ability to work to specific targets and timescales.
