Key Responsibilities:
- Environmental Auditing:
- Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with ISO14001 standards.
- Evaluate environmental policies, procedures, and practices to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare detailed audit reports, documenting findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Communicate audit results to relevant stakeholders and assist in the development of corrective action plans.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in environmental performance.
- Stay informed about changes in environmental regulations and standards to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Training and Awareness:
- Provide training and support to internal teams on environmental compliance matters.
- Raise awareness of environmental best practices and foster a culture of sustainability within the organization.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with environmental, health, and safety teams to integrate environmental considerations into broader organizational initiatives.
- Engage with external auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in environmental auditing, specifically to ISO14001 standards.
- Proven track record of working in the environmental sector.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex environmental concepts to diverse audiences.
