Job Title: Environmental Compliance Auditor
Location: Hatfield
Position Type: Full-time, Hybrid (35 hours a week)
Job Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the organisation's adherence to ISO14001 standards and will bring valuable experience working within the environmental sector.

This is a hybrid role, requiring a commitment of 35 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Environmental Auditing:
    • Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with ISO14001 standards.
    • Evaluate environmental policies, procedures, and practices to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
  2. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Prepare detailed audit reports, documenting findings and recommendations for improvement.
    • Communicate audit results to relevant stakeholders and assist in the development of corrective action plans.
  3. Continuous Improvement:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in environmental performance.
    • Stay informed about changes in environmental regulations and standards to ensure ongoing compliance.
  4. Training and Awareness:
    • Provide training and support to internal teams on environmental compliance matters.
    • Raise awareness of environmental best practices and foster a culture of sustainability within the organization.
  5. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with environmental, health, and safety teams to integrate environmental considerations into broader organizational initiatives.
    • Engage with external auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in environmental auditing, specifically to ISO14001 standards.
  • Proven track record of working in the environmental sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex environmental concepts to diverse audiences.
