Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an excellent English teacher to join a secondary academy in Oldham.

This a full-time long-term supply teacher role from April 2024 to July 2024 to cover a maternity leave.

The Role

Teacher of English Language and Literature to GCSE

Five days a week

Positive confident classroom management skills with a focus on Assessment for Learning.

Innovative teacher able to inspire with their excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for English literature and language.

The timetable is key stage 3 and GCSE but ability to teach or support in the sixth form would be beneficial.

The school are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers and experienced QTS Teachers or further education teachers with experience of teaching students aged 11 to 16.

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks.
  • Provide a CV with a full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained.
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
