We are excited to offer the position of an English Teacher within our dedicated English Department. The successful candidate will join a school that provides a stimulating, supportive, and rewarding environment, where staff are highly valued and professional development is actively encouraged.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring English lessons to students aged 11-18.
  • Engage students with the richness of English literature and language, fostering a love for reading and creative expression.
  • Assess student work, providing constructive feedback to facilitate improvement and mastery of the subject.
  • Contribute to the development of the curriculum and resources within the English Department.
  • Participate in the school’s CPD programme to enhance teaching practice.
  • Uphold the school’s moral code and values, promoting a culture of honesty, kindness, courage, and diligence.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • A degree in English or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level.
  • A passion for English literature and language and the ability to inspire this in students.
  • Commitment to the school’s ethos of community, equality, and striving for excellence.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
