Reed are looking for an English Teacher to fill a long term supply role in a secondary school within the Wrexham area

Role Overview

As an English Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the English Literature and Language understanding of our students. Your passion for the subject and commitment to student progress will contribute to our school's continued success. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified teacher to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging English Literature and Language lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.

- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.

- Motivate and challenge students through creative and interactive teaching.

- Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment.

- Monitor academic progress and enforce behaviour rules.

- Communicate effectively with parents and track student development.

Requirements

- Hold a relevant UK teaching qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).

- Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4.

- Right to work in the UK.

- Enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or willingness to undertake a new one.

- Up-to-date safeguarding training.
