Position Details:

Start Date: After the Easter holidays

Full-time position

Genuine possibility of continuation into the new academic year

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons that ignite students' passion for literature and language.

Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and motivated to succeed.

Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse learning needs and styles.

Foster critical thinking and analytical skills through the exploration of literary texts and language concepts.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative curriculum initiatives.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.

Qualifications and Skills:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Specialism in English literature and/or language.

Enthusiasm for teaching and a genuine commitment to student success.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Willingness to contribute to the school community and engage in continuous professional development.
