Energy Specialist

My client is one of the UK's leading Energy and sustainability consultancies who take great pride in providing highly technical and innovative solutions to issues within the built environment. They have the exciting opportunity for an experienced Energy Specialist to join their team in London.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Lead on energy assessment projects, as well as producing detailed energy strategies for residential and non-residential developments.
  • Mentor the more junior members of the team to help deliver on projects.
  • Carry out SAP and SBEM assessments, as well as producing U-value calculations and thermal bridging assessments

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree within a relevant field with having minimum 3 years' experience carrying out energy assessments for residential and non-residential development
  • Working towards or have already achieved CIBSE or IEMA membership.
  • Qualification and experience as either an OCDEA carrying out SAP assessments or an LCEA accreditation carrying out SBEM calculations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
