We are working with a client that requires an engineer (chemical or mechanical) to provide technical analysis on liability-related exposures. The goal is to influence loss ratios and shape insurance decisions, focusing on energy sector accounts. You will assess General and Product Liability risks, ensuring consistent selection and retention and build relationships with clients and brokers, identifying emerging risks. This can be done by sitting with underwriters internally but also by conducting on-site visits for risk assessments. Industry experience in oil & gas, power, or risk consulting is advantageous but candidates may also be currently working within an insurer or broker. The role will be a hybrid of internal and external with working from home when required.
