Attractive opportunity for an Employment Solicitor to join the Legal 500 Tier 1 Department of a law firm in Hertfordshire.

Our client is a leading, full-service law firm based in an attractive part of Hertfordshire.

They have been ranked across numerous departments in the legal directories for many years, including their Top Tier Employment team.

In addition to their UK-based work, the firm also have international desks in China, South East Asia, and Europe.

The Opportunity

Due to growth, the firm are looking to welcome an Employment Solicitor (Associate) to their team.

The successful candidate will work closely with the department's highly respected, Legal 500 recognised Partner and a very experienced Senior Associate. This opportunity will therefore suit an ambitious Solicitor looking to further develop and learn from some of the best in the industry.

The role will involve advising on a variety of non-contentious employment matters for a predominantly respondent bias client base, in addition to some senior executive claimant-side work. Duties will include:

• Advising SMEs, multinational and global corporations on all aspects of employment law
• Acting on behalf of senior executives seeking advice on potential claims and settlement agreements
• Advising on disciplinaries and grievances
• Advising on restrictive covenant and other employment contract breaches
• Supporting businesses with contracts, handbooks, policies and procedures

Requirements

• Employment Solicitor with c.4-8 years' PQE
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team
