Our client is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join their R&D team, in this role you will be contributing to the development of space systems for embedded timer, frequency, navigation and communication applications.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree in Embedded Software Engineering or similar discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience in Embedded Software Development.
  • Programming skills in C/C++.
  • Experience in communication protocol development CAN/UART or similar.
  • Real time OS experience.
  • V-Cycle Development.
  • Must be able to speak English, French speaker is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Defining and specifying the architecture of microcontroller software.
  • Creating low-level software components such as firmware, drivers, and bootloaders.
  • Crafting high-level software functionalities including sequencers, algorithms, and operating systems.
  • Debugging, simulating, testing, and validating the software.
  • Incorporating external libraries into the software system.
  • Outlining test cases for thorough software evaluation.
  • Producing technical documentation to document the software architecture and functionality.
