Position: Electronic Engineer

Location: Banbury

Industry: End of line packaging machines  

Salary: £30,000

OT Rate: Time & Half

Holidays: 25 days of annual leave.

Hours: 8:45-4:45

Company Overview:

The company is global OEM of product inspection machines for various industries, including Food, Pharma, Bakery, and Dairy. They are part of a larger packaging subsidiary that has a significant global presence, employing thousands of people worldwide.

Role:

  • Workshop based role testing electronic components
  • Experience on PCB’s
  • Reading electronic diagrams to diagnose faults
  • Testing of Circuit boards & PCB’s
  • Dealing with multiple departments to ensure build is on time
  • Soldering
  • Offer support and training to other technicians
  • Oversee production and meet customer deadlines
  • Forsee any future issues and problem solve
  • Wiring into control panels
  • Test, assemble, repair electronic components that will attached to capital equipment

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience with wiring into control panels
  • Must be able to read electronic diagrams
  • Hold 17th/18th edition wiring regulation or have an electrical qual
  • 3+ years experience of engineering
