Our client is a leading provider of innovative power supply solutions, committed to delivering sustainable and efficient power solutions to our clients. They are currently seeking a skilled Electro/Mechanical Assembly Team Leader with expertise in electrical product modification, particularly in fine soldering, to work at their RG7 location.
  
Electro/Mechanical Assembly Team Leader responsibilities:  
  • Review product design and planning processes, tools, and materials for production
  • Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work orders
  • Mount electrical components into lighting products, routing cables, and making connections
  • Conduct functionality and safety testing of modified products
  • Verify product compliance with specifications before shipment
  • Develop assembly and test processes for new products
  • Produce rework instructions and test specifications
  • Manage production schedule and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
Electro/Mechanical Assembly Team Leader requirements:  
  • A background in a similar hands-on manufacturing role
  • Educated to HNC Level or equivalent in Electrical and/or Electro-Mechanical engineering
  • Excellent communication skills for effective internal and external stakeholder engagement
  • Strong knowledge of electrical assembly and testing, along with understanding manufacturing techniques and product applications
  • Proficiency in soldering to IPC-A-610 standards, particularly with multicore cables and custom length flat LED strips
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for technical detail
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
