Job Title: Electrician

Salary: Negotiable - Full Time, permanent position

We work to help with all energy matters, from procurement through to implementing energy management and consumption reduction strategies.

We are looking for an experienced electrician who is eager to secure a permanent role within the Electrical sector. This position is varied, and you will be completing installations, repairs and maintenance of electrical systems for our customers. This role will often entail working in various areas of the UK.

The successful candidate may also be responsible for the management and training of an apprentice.

Main Duties

Maintenance

  • To carry out testing of malfunctioning equipment
  • Identifying and troubleshooting electrical defects
  • Repairing existing equipment
  • Replacing defective parts
  • Electrical testing

Installations

  • Electrical wiring and rewiring
  • Alignment adjustments
  • Calibration of various equipment
  • LED lighting conversions

Skills Required

  • Experience in carrying out work within the commercial field
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Motivated team player who can work as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and a natural problem solver
  • Good troubleshooting skills to determine causes of operating errors and implement solutions
  • Able to convey information effectively

Qualifications Required

A minimum of 3 years’ experience and ideally a 2391 qualification
