Instead of writing a page-long essay waffling on about why this is a great global company who offer all their engineers amazing training, independence, support, progression and the chance to work in a fun enjoyable environment…we will keep it to the point. Are you a qualified electrician looking to broaden your horizons? Ever thought about life safety and fire alarms?
WHO THEY ARE AND WHAT THEY DO:
The company specialise in the electrical, life safety and fire alarm servicing sector across the UK and have engineers based around the South East. This opportunity however is a unique one for a confident, competent electrician (fire alarm knowledge beneficial) to cover Home Counties but not London! So no 4-hour journeys into the city moving at a snail's pace, only to get whacked with a fine for being in a bus lane.
They have grown from strength to strength over the last 25+ years continuously growing their customer network and relationships (one client has actually been loyal for 25 years!)
They work within the commercial sector on sites like privately owned pubs, clubs, shops and restaurants as well as offices and small housing associations. They are only based in the South East so have strong close-knit values in their little community; you will work in a great atmosphere and bond throughout the company with on-call managers and fellow engineers in your team.
They are not looking for a polished know-it-all; they like to offer training to improve your already strong electrical skills and give you the chance to learn new systems like life safety and fire alarms that you have not yet ventured into. Ideally you'll be qualified to 17th Edition level or equivalent.
They are however looking for a strong, confident, experienced electrical engineer; some knowledge of fire alarms would of course be beneficial! The ability to install and carry out small maintenance checks from day one is pretty important though.
The role is a servicing role and of course the chance to learn fire and life safety systems is also available!
£30-33K based on experience with great training opportunities. Perhaps you are a 17th edition qualified electrician looking to enhance your skillset with life safety?
