Are you an electrician looking for job security and a company that really treats you fairly? Perhaps you want to make to the jump to the growing renewables sector or get home each evening to that family of yours?

We are one of the world’s largest providers of renewable technologies. From wind to solar and everything in between, for over forty years we’ve been at the forefront of clean energy; and with a huge portfolio of projects and clients we’re looking to add a new solar technician in our Northamptonshire region.

What’s the package?

Upto £42k basic depending on your experience, plus on call allowance on top

Plus 10% annual discretionary bonus

Plus 25 days paid annual leave, plus bank holidays

Company pension and other benefits

Company van

What’s the role?

As a solar technician you’re responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of ground mounted solar panels. That’s right, no roofs, no ladders!

Your day starts when you leave the house and ends when you get back in the front door. That’s right, paid door to door and back home every night in a 40 hour week! You will also go on a rota to cover 1 in 5 weekends- with an on call supplement and time and a half if you actually have to do anything!

You’ll commute up to 50 miles to job in your company van. Absolutely no travel expenses.

You’ll need to be an 18th edition qualified electrician, ideally one who has worked on a range of electrical projects- not just domestic. If you’ve worked with solar before you’d be perfect and likely to achieve the higher salaries.

As well as your electrical background you’ll need the ability to operate a tablet to record some data and be committed to working as part of a team. The patch is predominantly around Northampton, Milton Keynes and Wellingborough.
