Electrical maintenance engineer Multi skill

Company Overview:

I am currently assisting a leading FM service provider with their ongoing search for multi skilled - electricalmaintenanceengineers to work on a large city-wide contract across London. My client look after over 30 buildings across North, East, South, West, and Central London. My client are looking to take on experienced maintenance electricians as part of this growth plan.

• Salary Range: £40k-£48k (dependant on experience & qualifications)
• Locations: Static sites across North, South, East, West, and Central London (Zones 1-6)
• Plenty of overtime available in evenings & weekend (non-compulsory)
• Monday - Friday or Shift work available

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and emergency systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, implementing timely and effective solutions to minimise downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities to extend the lifespan of electrical equipment and systems, including: UPS, transformers, Circuit breakers, distribution boards/panels and HVAC power supply.
• Generators - Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and service reports.
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning) & Chillers
• BMS System

Requirements:

• NVQ / C&G Level 3 in electrical installation and/or Level 3 electrical apprenticeship
• 17th/18th edition
• Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in building services (commercial offices, hospitals, or critical environment preferable)
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Plans to grow and climb the ranks in a company
• A proven track record in Building Maintenance
